Terms of Use
Last updated: REPLACE_WITH_LAUNCH_DATE · AfBridge Centre of Innovative Studies · afbridgeonline.org
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the AfBridge Centre of Innovative Studies website at afbridgeonline.org (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.
These terms apply to all visitors, applicants, and enrolled students interacting with the Site’s public-facing pages. Enrolled students are also subject to the AfBridge Student Code of Conduct and Programme Handbook, provided at enrolment.
2. Use of the Website
You may use this Site for lawful personal purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the Site to submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information in any form, including the application form
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to collect data from the Site without written permission
- Upload files containing viruses, malware, or any other malicious code via the application file upload feature
- Use the Site in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its performance
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without prior written consent from AfBridge
3. Application and Admissions
3.1 Accuracy of information
You are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted in your application is accurate, complete, and truthful. Submission of false information — including misrepresentation of qualifications, identity, or professional background — will result in immediate rejection or, if discovered after enrolment, termination without refund.
3.2 Application processing
Submission of an application does not guarantee admission. AfBridge reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion. The admissions team will communicate decisions by email to the address provided in the application.
3.3 One application per person
Applicants may submit only one active application per intake cycle. Duplicate applications (detected by email address) will be automatically flagged and may delay processing.
4. Programmes and Curriculum
AfBridge reserves the right to:
- Modify programme curriculum, module content, or assessments as required to maintain academic quality
- Change programme delivery dates, intake cycles, or scheduling
- Suspend or discontinue a programme if minimum enrolment thresholds are not met, in which case enrolled students will receive a full refund
Where material changes affect enrolled students, AfBridge will give reasonable advance notice by email.
5. Fees and Payments
5.1 Fee schedule
Programme fees are published on the Fees & Funding page at afbridgeonline.org/admissions/fees and are stated in both Ghanaian Cedis (GHS) and United States Dollars (USD). Fees are subject to revision between intake cycles.
5.2 Instalment plan
Where an instalment plan is available, the first instalment (60% of total fee) is due before programme commencement. The second instalment (40%) is due by the end of Week 6. Failure to pay the second instalment by the deadline will result in suspension from programme activities until payment is received.
5.3 Refund policy
- Before Week 1 starts: Full refund less a GHS 150 / USD 10 administrative fee
- During Week 1: 75% refund
- During Week 2: 50% refund
- Week 3 and beyond: No refund
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Processing takes up to 14 business days.
5.4 Deferral
Enrolled students may defer to the next available intake once, at no additional cost, if they notify AfBridge in writing before the end of Week 2. A second deferral requires payment of a GHS 100 / USD 7 deferral fee.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the AfBridge website — including programme descriptions, curriculum frameworks, page copy, graphics, and the AfBridge brand assets — is the intellectual property of AfBridge Centre of Innovative Studies. You may not reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit any Site content without written permission.
Work produced by students as part of programme assessments (portfolio items, business plans, papers, code) remains the intellectual property of the student. AfBridge may request permission to feature student work in its Graduate Showcase with the student’s explicit written consent.
7. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., partner organisations, payment platforms, learning tools). These links are provided for convenience only. AfBridge is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Visiting third-party sites is at your own risk.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AfBridge does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. AfBridge does not guarantee specific outcomes from its programmes — graduate results depend on individual effort, engagement, and external market factors.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AfBridge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in our programmes. Our total liability to any individual shall not exceed the amount of programme fees paid by that individual in the relevant enrolment cycle.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
11. Changes to These Terms
AfBridge may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will post the effective date of any update at the top of this page.
